‘SHOCK and concern as Zimbabwe’s MDC-T leader Richard Morgan Tsvangirai is airlifted on a life-support system for emergency surgery and treatment in South Africa’

Zimbabwe’s MDC-T leader Richard Morgan Tsvangirai was early yesterday morning rushed to South Africa attached to a life-support system .

The opposition leaders health suffered a serious deterioration during an opposition MDC Alliance strategic meeting held in Kadoma on Thursday this week.

Tsvangirai is known to be suffering from cancer of the colon. In a shockingly similar emergency to one recently suffered by the Vice President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa after he consumed ‘Gushungo Alpha Omega dairy ice cream while attending a Zanu Pf rally in Gwanda before being airlifted to Gweru and later to South Africa for treatment, Tsvangirai allegedly had lunch then started vomiting and had to leave the meeting.

His health condition, further deteriorated and his medical doctor, Macdonald Alifazema, reportedly recommended that the MDC T opposition leader should be be flown to South Africa for urgent surgery because of its serious nature.

The MDC T leader Richard Morgan Tsvangirai was rushed on an Ace ambulance from a local hospital and  airlifted at approximately 2am on a chartered private jet, flight reference H.A.C Reg ZS – MBS to Johannesburg, South Africa for medical attention, accompanied by his wife Elizabeth, Dr Alifazema and an anaesthetist nurse who according to sources was only identified as Muzavazi.

Those who saw Tsvangirai before the medical emergency evacuation to South Africa claim he had been vomiting heavily and was placed on oxygen support and attached to a drip.

Without a clear leadership succession plan, the MDC alliance and ultimately the Zimbabwean public will face confusion and destruction against a more established, secure and filthy rich Mugabe, Zanu pf stalwarts, securocrats and zim1 family caucus ahead of crucial elections set for 2018 if Tsvangirai becomes indisposed. It is such a shame that Zimbabwe’s opposition and ruling party leaders are continuously flown out of the country on health tours while the ordinary people continue to suffer due to drug shortages, dilapidated and understaffed health institutions along with unaffordable health fees, where available.
